A common thread in our friendship of the Maassluisboys is football. Almost all of us started at the Slotervaart football club, except for Thomas and Rene.
In addition, we played fierce matches on our field behind the playground for long afternoons and many duels were fought in a game of exhaustion, except for Rene, who came later.
Over time we changed clubs. Usually because the club moved, merged or simply ceased to exist. Still good times!

Een rode draad in onze vriendschap van de Maassluisboys is voetballen. Bijna allemaal zijn wij begonnen bij de voetbalclub ASV Slotervaart behalve Thomas en Rene.
Daarnaast speelden wij lange middagen hevige partijen op ons veldje achter de speeltuin en talrijke duels werden uitgevochten in een potje afmatteren, behalve Rene, die kwam pas later.
